Rivited is a Metal Maniacs car and Taro Kitano's second car, after his '70 Plymouth Road Runner.

History

After Taro's former car '70 Plymouth Road Runner was damaged in the Storm Realm, he used this car for the rest of the realms.

The car was used to beat the Water Realm in record time, after Taro accidentally enters the Racing Drones' headquarters and had to go back through the portal. It was so close that part of Riveted's exhaust tips were cut off from barely entering the finish portal just as it closed.

It was flipped over in the Racing Drones' headquarters during the effort to save Markie.

It enters the following realms: Swamp, Lava, Water, Metro, Ice, Neon Pipeline, Junk & Cosmic.

Trivia

• It enters the second most realms out of any car with 8, tied with Battle Spec.
• Rivited continues to be featured in many different Hot Wheels media / merchandise, including the Hot Wheels 50th anniversary colouring book, Track Wars logo (alongside Time Tracker).

• This car closely resembles the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
• The die-cast model partially get rid of the roll cage in favour of a spare tire
  • It also has 2 pairs of primary headlights instead of 1
  • The tail / rear bumper is also slightly lengthened compared to the animation model. This is due to the bumpers being cut off for adapting to the loops and curves.
  • Front splitter is much more rounded, and the secondary set of headlights (on the bottom side) is also missing.
  • Side skirts are also missing.
  • However, the changes are necessary, as the show-accurate model has low front and back ends, as well as an overall low ground clearance. Without those changes, it cannot work on the tracks, especially on loops.
  • In Hot Wheels: Unleashed it appeared in one of the trailers covered with a cover and was eventually released in the game.
