Yucatan is a racer on the Road Beasts team. It was revealed by the DVD guide that Yucatan was raised in the jungles of Central America and became a stunt driver in Cancun performing shows for tourists but quit due to controversy after failing to stop another driver's foolhardy maneuver. In his comic, he saves Finn's life during the Greatest Challenge, ironically not appearing within the same scene in the film variant of the same event.

Appearance

Yucatan is a possibly indigenous Central American man with long hair and a yellow and green bandana cap. He wears a belt with the Road Beasts paw print insignia on the buckle.

Bios

• Raised in the ancient jungles of Central America, Yucatan became a stunt driver in Cancun, performing "Mayan Adventure Shows" for the tourists along the Yucatan Peninsula. He quit the circuit after his failure to stop a fellow driver's foolhardy maneuver nearly cost them both their lives. Racing Power Rocket for the Road Beasts puts him back in the driver's seat, where he belongs.

• The character name is based on the actual state of Yucatán, in Mexico.
• He is possibly Mayan but his bio only confirms that he is from Central America. There are several strong hints at his ethnicity though:
  • His being raised in the jungles could be a hint that his family are indigenous.
  • Him being named Yucatan, along with his stunt show being "Mayan" is another strong hint.
  • His overall appearance could also suggest he is indigenous.
• In a close-up panel in his comic, he has heterochromia, with his right eye being blue and his left eye being brown.
