"Whoa...Check-it-out!" - Vert Wheeler
The Deora II was a vehicle driven by Vert Wheeler in World Race. Deora II is possibly one of the most popular cars Vert ever used. He first used it for the World Race with the Wave Rippers. He then used it for several races with the Teku. However, when Vert used it to drive through the Storm Realm he barely made it through the portal and the Deora II was cut in half when the Realm closed.

Trivia
- The Deora II was the only V8-powered car in the Teku.
- According to series creator Jeff Gomez, the car was built for Major Wheeler but Dr. Peter Tezla switched the designation to Vert at the last minute.[1]
- The Deora II is one of several Hot Wheels cars that have had real world replicas made of them, with the Deora II replicated in 2003 as promotion for the then 35th anniversary of Hot Wheels and conversely to advertise the Hot Wheels: World Race movie. In 2023, it was given the Teku decal wrapping to promote a line of Acceleracers themed NFT's.[2][3][1]
